January Cara Box Reveal

So this is my third month to participate in the Cara Box Exchange, and I love it more and more every month!   If you haven't participated, jump on over to Kaitlyn's blog and join in, trust me, you won't be disappointed!  This month was so much fun.  I was matched up with two lovely ladies this month, it is great to get to know two wonderful ladies in one month!  I was partnered with Anna and Stevie and I was so excited!  I sent my box to Anna, if want to see all her goodies go here, and I received my box from Stevie.  

Stevie did a great job at getting to know me in order to send me a box filled with awesome goodies!!  She learned that I am quite the hair snob, love that.  She sent me a little journal to help with my daily devotions and some headbands to help control the hair while at the gym.  Funny thing, I was just about to buy the same headbands....great minds think alike!!  And now the moment you have been waiting for...PICTURES!  Because guess what, I found my camera!!!

Terrible Thursday...

okay so i guess i shouldn't say terrible, but it isn't my favorite day this week.  i had my visit with the lady doctor today, i wish i could say my annual visit.  however, i am get the joy of going more than once a year.  don't be jealy, i know it will be hard to fight that jealousy....ha

so today i go and my blood pressure was high.  high enough for them to say something to me, and more than once i must tell you.  i mean, i get it, but seriously do you think i should be excited to be at the lady doctor? uh no!  and not to mention the conversation is just awkward, i understand it is better than no noise at all, but i seriously doubt you care what colors i used in my wedding while you are feeling me up.  and another thing, i don't want to hear how you and your husband met in stillwater while you are doing your business.....just be quiet.  anyways, onto the blood pressure.  i have to lose weight, reduce my sodium intake and montior my readings.  and she didn't give me great news of having a baby with high bp.  so back to the gym we go and no more frozen lunches!  thanks alot.

worst 50.00 spent this month.  that could have bought a really nice outfit from TJMaxx.

Oh how Pinteresting....

Weekend Recap....

Wow, can't believe the weekend always goes so fast!  We didn't do much this weekend, with the mister having the flu last week, we tried to just rest.  We watched our DVR shows on Friday night and have sushi and chinese for dinner.  Then Saturday, I woke up with a killer migraine and then got sick from Taco Bueno at lunch.  We stayed home and cleaned out of garage and organized the attic so now we can get both cars in the garage.  Hello no more scraping windows!!!  Sunday morning we watched church online at home, then got around and went to the family farm.  The mister's family owned a turkey farm, so they have lots of buildings full of stuff.  The mister hates going out there, because he doesn't have the eye for turning people's crap into our decor....like I do!!!  So I just picked up some old windows and some wood to make some signs!!! 

So excited to start crafting.  Now if I can get everything organized with school so that my free weekends can consist of crafting, life would be perfect!!!

High Five for Friday!

So excited that today is Friday!!! 

I am a tad bit sad that tomorrow I have to wake up early and have my car at the shop for an oil change at 8am...why did my husband have to get the flu this week, making it impossible to take my car in during the week?  Oh well....

I am going to be cloroxing everything again tonight and doing my laundry.  I did all the towels and sheets on Wednesday so we got rid of all that sickness earlier, but my clothes are starting to pile up!  Yikes!

I did manage to buy some new pillows today, TJMaxx is my best fran!  I seriously love that place!

I need to get some more pictures on the walls, so that I can finally take all the pictures and do a home tour of the new house!

I need some excellent for dinner tonight, I am tired of eating soup!!!

And it's 4 mins til 5, I am blowing this popsicle stand!!!!

Well this is my first time to post...hope I can continue this fun little link-up!!  If you haven't seen it, then you should head on over to Stephanie or Katie's blogs and see what this is all about!

I wanted to display our wedding stuff in a keepsake, so of course I headed over to Pinterest to see what I could find. 

So I gathered up my wedding stuff and got busy!

It was alittle tricky getting it all to fit and look pretty, but I finished it and it I love it!!

That nasty flu bug is everywhere...

So I am blessed to say that I am not the one that the flu bug decided to invade, but it has invaded our house.  The mister is sicker than a dog with that nasty flu bug.  Dirty little thing.  Please please please make sure to wash your hands and don't leave your house if you aren't feeling well.  We spent a great majority of our night in the urgent care, which he says isn't really urgent about anything.  Dr said we caught it early, Nathan started feeling bad Sunday night and I made him go after work last night, so hopefully he will be on the up and up later tonight or tomorrow.  He is out of work for a week, he isn't happy about that tho!  We had to change our weekend plans, so I guess it will be full of rest and relaxation instead of drive across Oklahoma to see family.  That will be continued the next weekend.  We will be taking it easy and hoping I don't get it.  I did get the flu shot, so I am hoping I am covered!  Prayers needed please!

Weekend Recap!

Well well well, Monday we meet again!  I am pretty sure I canceled our friendship last week, and the week before that!  I guess you didn't get that memo...Anywho!  Our weekend was pretty lazy, but also alittle productive for me!  Here is the recap...

Friday: After work, I headed to Tarjay for some groceries and to look around....only walked out with groceries in my hands, insert sad face!  When I got home, the hubs was supposed to take me out to dinner and get a movie....but we couldn't agree on where to eat or what to do, so we hopped in the car and went to Hobby Lobby to get a new tray for our coffee table ottoman!  Stoked that I found EXACTLY what I was looking for!  Then we settled on McAlister's for dinner and didn't watch a movie. 

Saturday: I tried to sleep in, but that didn't happen!  I did, however, lay in bed playing on my kindle to make up the sleeping in hours.  #Success  Then I showered and ran around town until it started to rain/sleet.  Stayed home for a few hours and did things around the house, make some great stew and organized my closet.  Then the hubster and I went to Sam's (our favorite place to shop, even tho we always buy like we are feeding an army) and renewed our membership, walked around and found lots of good healthy food to eat and headed home.  We were in Sam's for about an hour and when hubs got the car, it was iced over.  Seriously, OKLAHOMA, you were 70 degrees on Friday evening.  Get it together and decided what kind of weather we are going to have.  So we headed home and had our stew for dinner, then watch Bachelorette....eh it was just okay.  Funny in parts, but kinda lame. 

Sunday: It was icy again in the morning, so I got up and watched church online and did some school stuff.  Got my closet fully organized, along with our master bath!  So glad that I am starting 2013 with organization.  We visited with the in-laws for a bit and then had dinner and caught up on our DVR shows. 

And here we are to begin the work week again....So here's to a great week!!!

Closing time....

Anywayz, so I totally wish it was already 5 o'clock and I would be out of this place like a fat kid in dodgeball.  Please don't get your panties in a bunch, it's just a saying! hahaha :) I am so over this work day, over this week and over YEAR END.  Why did I chose to be an accountant??  Stupid stupid decision.  I seriously have a love/hate relationship with my job.  So as you can see, I done working for today because if I see another Journal Entry I am likely to poke my eye out.  I had a dream last night that there was a small fire by my desk and when I would put it out, it would rekindle.  So I looked at my office mate and said "Well what should we do? Leave?"  She looked back and said "uh no, we can't leave it's year end!"  Lord, I pray you do as you will with me if that situation ever REALLY happens!  Amen!

So I plan to do alittle crafting at the house, maybe hit the Flea Market tomorrow with my MIL.  I have an empty space when our Christmas tree was and I am needing to fill it!  The hubs suggested just leaving the tree up....he obviously isn't a decorator!  But boy does he try!  So we are putting everything up in the attic and cleaning up the house.  I hope to do a home tour next week.  Hope is the key word...depends on work and school.  I also start Made to Crave study this weekend, looking forward to getting back in the Word daily and getting to use my new Bible!!!  Please have a blessed weekend!

Weekend Recap!

Well we didn't really do much this weekend!  I think that the holidays and moving finally caught up with us.  We both slept in on Saturday, the hubs more than me (man, can that boy sleep) and had a nasty little stomach issue that kept us home from church.  We were both wanting to go, but couldn't be that far away from the bathroom.  TMI?  Sorry!!!  But Saturday, after sleeping in, we got around and did alittle shopping, more like looking!  We have an empty spot where the Christmas tree was and need it be filled, like yesterday!  But we did find our kitchen pantry and we got it yesterday, took it home and with the help of some great in-laws, got it put together and food put in.  We are super anal about the kitchen and I hate for food to be showing!  Yuck! 

Sunday, we spent some time laying around to ease the stomach ache and then tackled more projects.  The above pantry was actually done on Sunday evening, but I got lots of laundry done and a few items from Target!!

This week is my last first week of school.  I swear this time!  haha  I will be in class Monday, Tuesday and Thursday.  So this week also starts our gym training and getting the weight off.  My love pounds have got to go, so glad my love will stay!!  I hate being fat and pasty white....this all needs to change stat!

It's a New Year, new beginnings!!!

I am so happy to say that 2012 was one of the best years of my life.  I started the year with a new company, lots of wedding planning that led to marrying my best friend and the best match for me!  First  year of marriage is a toughy, but we are fighting through.  We have had some challenges but I think it is God testing us and making us stronger.  So I am blessed to say I have loved every minute of it.

So 2013 is a new year and a new adventure.  Right after our midnight kiss, the hubs said "2011 was the year of engagement, 2012 was the year of the wedding and 2013 is the year of a baby!"  We are crossing our fingers that that is true.  Listen ladies, I am 30 and I am not getting any younger...so my biological clock is ticking.like.this....Name that movie!!!  haha  No but seriously, we have always said we wanted two kiddos running around and I want them before I am 35.  So here's to the new year!! We are also starting to workout again and eat LOTS better.  The month has been so crazy busy with finals, graduation, moving and holidays!  I will be glad to have some rest.  Oh wait, I start school again on Monday.  WHAT!!!!!  Ugh, only a few more classes!!!
