January Cara Box Reveal

So this is my third month to participate in the Cara Box Exchange, and I love it more and more every month!   If you haven't participated, jump on over to Kaitlyn's blog and join in, trust me, you won't be disappointed!  This month was so much fun.  I was matched up with two lovely ladies this month, it is great to get to know two wonderful ladies in one month!  I was partnered with Anna and Stevie and I was so excited!  I sent my box to Anna, if want to see all her goodies go here, and I received my box from Stevie.  

Stevie did a great job at getting to know me in order to send me a box filled with awesome goodies!!  She learned that I am quite the hair snob, love that.  She sent me a little journal to help with my daily devotions and some headbands to help control the hair while at the gym.  Funny thing, I was just about to buy the same headbands....great minds think alike!!  And now the moment you have been waiting for...PICTURES!  Because guess what, I found my camera!!!

Terrible Thursday...

okay so i guess i shouldn't say terrible, but it isn't my favorite day this week.  i had my visit with the lady doctor today, i wish i could say my annual visit.  however, i am get the joy of going more than once a year.  don't be jealy, i know it will be hard to fight that jealousy....ha

so today i go and my blood pressure was high.  high enough for them to say something to me, and more than once i must tell you.  i mean, i get it, but seriously do you think i should be excited to be at the lady doctor? uh no!  and not to mention the conversation is just awkward, i understand it is better than no noise at all, but i seriously doubt you care what colors i used in my wedding while you are feeling me up.  and another thing, i don't want to hear how you and your husband met in stillwater while you are doing your business.....just be quiet.  anyways, onto the blood pressure.  i have to lose weight, reduce my sodium intake and montior my readings.  and she didn't give me great news of having a baby with high bp.  so back to the gym we go and no more frozen lunches!  thanks alot.

worst 50.00 spent this month.  that could have bought a really nice outfit from TJMaxx.

Oh how Pinteresting....

Weekend Recap....

Wow, can't believe the weekend always goes so fast!  We didn't do much this weekend, with the mister having the flu last week, we tried to just rest.  We watched our DVR shows on Friday night and have sushi and chinese for dinner.  Then Saturday, I woke up with a killer migraine and then got sick from Taco Bueno at lunch.  We stayed home and cleaned out of garage and organized the attic so now we can get both cars in the garage.  Hello no more scraping windows!!!  Sunday morning we watched church online at home, then got around and went to the family farm.  The mister's family owned a turkey farm, so they have lots of buildings full of stuff.  The mister hates going out there, because he doesn't have the eye for turning people's crap into our decor....like I do!!!  So I just picked up some old windows and some wood to make some signs!!! 

So excited to start crafting.  Now if I can get everything organized with school so that my free weekends can consist of crafting, life would be perfect!!!

High Five for Friday!

So excited that today is Friday!!! 

I am a tad bit sad that tomorrow I have to wake up early and have my car at the shop for an oil change at 8am...why did my husband have to get the flu this week, making it impossible to take my car in during the week?  Oh well....

I am going to be cloroxing everything again tonight and doing my laundry.  I did all the towels and sheets on Wednesday so we got rid of all that sickness earlier, but my clothes are starting to pile up!  Yikes!

I did manage to buy some new pillows today, TJMaxx is my best fran!  I seriously love that place!

I need to get some more pictures on the walls, so that I can finally take all the pictures and do a home tour of the new house!

I need some excellent for dinner tonight, I am tired of eating soup!!!

And it's 4 mins til 5, I am blowing this popsicle stand!!!!

Well this is my first time to post...hope I can continue this fun little link-up!!  If you haven't seen it, then you should head on over to Stephanie or Katie's blogs and see what this is all about!

I wanted to display our wedding stuff in a keepsake, so of course I headed over to Pinterest to see what I could find. 

So I gathered up my wedding stuff and got busy!

What you need:

- Shadow Box - I got mine at Hobby Lobby for 1/2 off

- Wedding invitation

- cake topper or any initial

- Wedding program

- garter

It was alittle tricky getting it all to fit and look pretty, but I finished it and it I love it!!

I am so sorry but I can't get my picture to upload, but it looks pretty much the same, except our initial is an R!
