February CaraBox Reveal

Once again, I have joined the cool kids and participated in the CaraBox exchange.  If you want to read more about this and participate in future months, please visit Kaitlyn's blog!  She is an amazing blogger and always has this awesome linkup!  This month, we got partnered with people in our same state.  Shout out to all my OKie's!!!  I got to know the sweet, precious, Cowboy lovin Shae!  Visit her blog to see her box of goodies!  I loved getting to know her to be able to shop for her #ClubSexy box. 

 

I was also partnered with Holly over at The Oklahoma Pepplers!  We emailed back and forth and she sent me an amazing box!!  When I opened it, I was so excited!!!  She was so sweet and got the perfect day for my husband and me.  She must have done some investigating to get to know me pretty well!  She put two coffee mugs (in our exact wedding colors), a great candle, and some crosswords (because we are lame and enjoy doing those in bed!!).  Then she sent a recipe that was husband approved on her end that I can't wait to try!  She also sent a movie complete with popcorn and candy!  That's the perfect #ClubSexy for us!!!  We are very social during the week and our weekends are busy as well, so we always enjoy a good day/night in!!

 

Tuesday already, maybe the week will be faster!

So I wanted to update you on my life.  I went to the Dr on Valentine's Day to find out I have bronchitis and double ear infections....my ears didn't even hurt me!  I have only had 1 ear infection and I was 27!  So, our VDay was alittle laid back.  We had already planned on making dinner ourselves and so we just ate and snuggled watching our DVR.  I got Nathan a shirt and some baby foot stuff, along with balloons and he had gotten 14 days of valentine's from me starting on February 1st.  He got me flowers, candy and Darius Rucker tickets.  He is playing at The Joint inside the Hard Rock on my actual birthday!!!  We love him and said we would go anytime he plays in Tulsa.  Love me some Darius.  So this weekend we didn't do much either.  We hung out together on Saturday for our 8th month-a-versary!  We saw Identity Theft, pretty funny!  Sunday, I didn't leave the house.  Thank goodness I haven't missed any work due to this, but I sure am tired at night!

Oh Hump Day, glad you finally made it!

Has this week taken forever already??  Sheesh!  So I have been browsing Pinterest lately in search of finds to create beautiful things from my husband's grandparents farm!  They come from turkey farmers and they have a hatchery full of junk stuff!!  I see stuff, husband sees crap!  Oh I love my eye better!  So my MIL and I have found some neat items that we are going to redo and either put in our houses or sell, we are going to start a Refurb business on the side to keep this little hobby going!!  So excited, can't wait!!  Here are a few of my finds on Pinterest that I know we can do!

I can't wait to start our new adventure and I think it will be lots of fun!

Who is tired about being sick??

It's Me, It's Me!

I seriously am over being sick.  Since January started, Nathan or I or both, have been sick every week.  I think we were only not actually sick one weekend, minus Nathan still having his cough from his round of FLU!  I know have a bad cough, sound like a dude, and hack all day and all night long.  My chest hurts from the congestion and I am so doped up on medicine, I can't sleep at night, even with NyQuil.  Those commercials are all lies, lies I tell ya!  So as I sit here sucking on cough drops, trying to make it to my test tonight so I can go home and sleep.  On the up side, I am hoping my husband takes my dinner suggestion!! Pancakes on Fat Tuesday!!!

Valentine's Day...

I decided to be alittle creative, er go on pinterest and find something cute to do for Nathan for V-Day!  I know it is like the worst commericalized holiday, but if I get to buy treats and leave for the man in my life....I am all about it!!  So I decided to do 14 days of Valentines, you can also follow me on instagram @brookeroberts82 to see everything I do   I post during this fun holiday season!!

Heart Walk....

So I got suckered asked to be our company's Team Captian for the American Heart Association Heart Walk in April.  Boy was I surprised at all that I have to do.  I collect all the money for our jeans days, set up all the fundraising activites and make all the stuff!  Talk about stress.  I love looking on Pinterest for some cute, fun, but cheap little Valentine's Day ideas.  Geez, is V-Day really only a week away, this year is flying by?!?!?!  So here I will share with you some of my pins that I am starting to recreate this evening!
